These two local, well local-ish in the case of Shotley, are two excellent examples of English Bacchus. Shotley is a beautiful vineyard overlooking the Stour and Orwell estuaries and Nick Williams of Williams Family Wines makes his wines in Buckden. Both are definitely worth a try.

We have several of this iconic Margaret River producer’s Chardonnays in stock. The Laterite Hills is a beautifu, fresh style of Chardonnay, whilst the single vineyards of Hazel’s Vineyard (2018) and Burnside Vineyard (2021) offer more complexity. if you are a Chardonnay love, these are a must try!

lovely Pouilly-Fumé from the Loire. It is a crisp, mineral-driven Sauvignon Blanc, featuring notes of apple, pear, gooseberry, and flint. This wine, from a family with three generations of winemaking, is known for its vibrant acidity, clean structure, and fresh fruit flavors, with no oak aging.

This is a dry, crisp, and aromatic white wine from Italy's Veneto region, near Lake Garda. It has fruit and floral notes, complemented by a distinct minerality; very refreshing.

Recently tried in the country of its birth, this is a lovely, easily approachable and versatile Red. Another great value wine from

Portugal.

 Two great wines from Familia Castaño in Yecla. Hecula is an Organic Monastrell and offers great value at this price point. Solanera is an old vines blend of Monastrell, Cabernet Sauvignon and Grenache. It is delicious.

Two great English sparkles from Essex. The Brut is £18 and the Rosé is £19

This is a lovely cru Beaujolais. Juicy wild strawberries, cherries and blueberrie. definitely delivers at this price poin.

we have a small amount of this lovely 2021 white Burgundy from a much respected producer. First come, first served on this one!

These two great wines are from producer CVNE. The Crianza is designed for everyday drinking and is fruit forward. the barrel aged white offers great value at this price. Grab one before they are gone!

This is a wonderful wine. Grenache is not necessarily a grape variety you would associate with South Africa, but this wine from Piekenierskloof 80km from the West Coast and is well worth a try. Think bright red fruit!

Cabernet Sauvignon/Merlot and a splash of Petit Verdot. With some of its vineyards sitting adjacent to a more famous neighbour, Ch. Latour, this offers good Bordeaux at an affordable price. 

One of the pioneers of English wine, Hambledon was established in 1952. This is a lovely blend of the three classic Champagne grapes, Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier.

A truly delicious Grenache.
