These two local, well local-ish in the case of Shotley, are two excellent examples of English Bacchus. Shotley is a beautiful vineyard overlooking the Stour and Orwell estuaries and Nick Williams of Williams Family Wines makes his wines in Buckden. Both are definitely worth a try.

We have several of this iconic Margaret River producer’s Chardonnays in stock. The Laterite Hills is a beautifu, fresh style of Chardonnay, whilst the single vineyards of Hazel’s Vineyard (2018) and Burnside Vineyard (2021) offer more complexity. if you are a Chardonnay love, these are a must try!

lovely Pouilly-Fumé from the Loire. It is a crisp, mineral-driven Sauvignon Blanc, featuring notes of apple, pear, gooseberry, and flint. This wine, from a family with three generations of winemaking, is known for its vibrant acidity, clean structure, and fresh fruit flavors, with no oak aging.

This is a dry, crisp, and aromatic white wine from Italy's Veneto region, near Lake Garda. It has fruit and floral notes, complemented by a distinct minerality; very refreshing.

 Two great wines from Familia Castaño in Yecla. Hecula is an Organic Monastrell and offers great value at this price point. Solanera is an old vines blend of Monastrell, Cabernet Sauvignon and Grenache. It is delicious.

Stellenbosch Bordeaux blend from the makers of the iconic Rubicon.

Languedoc fruit, Burgundian expertise resulting in a great Chardonnay that has no oak. Great on a summer’s day.

Two great English sparkles from Essex. The Brut is £18 and the Rosé is £19

This is a lovely cru Beaujolais. Juicy wild strawberries, cherries and blueberrie. definitely delivers at this price poin.

This is a  2016 Chinon, made from young vines. Drinking really well and well worth a try. 100% Cabernet Franc 

we have a small amount of this lovely 2021 white Burgundy from a much respected producer. First come, first served on this one!

These two great wines are from producer CVNE. The Crianza is designed for everyday drinking and is fruit forward. the barrel aged white offers great value at this price. Grab one before they are gone!

Lots of us live Crement, but this is a single vintage Crement from 2018. Langlois are part owned by Bollinger Small that wine making expertise from that Champagne House is employed here. Chenin Blanc based fizz.

This is a wonderful wine. Grenache is not necessarily a grape variety you would associate with South Africa, but this wine from Piekenierskloof 80km from the West Coast and is well worth a try. Think bright red fruit!

A Sangiovese based wine, from a lesser know Tuscan region in the hills of Maremma (if you want to know mmore about the region, there was an article in Decanter magazine a year or so ago). Think Cherries, blackberries and violets.

We all love a cocktail, but most of us either don’t have all the ingredients or the patience to mix them. If that sounds like you, these might be just the thing. Passionfruit Martini, Old Fashioned, Espresso Martini, Elderflower Collins and the Chambord Bramble are all on our shelves. Treat yourself!

Cabernet Sauvignon/Merlot and a splash of Petit Verdot. With some of its vineyards sitting adjacent to a more famous neighbour, Ch. Latour, this offers good Bordeaux at an affordable price. 

Old vines Pinot Noir from an Appelation that sits between Volnay and Mersault. Burgundy for under £20? It is a bargain!

Situated on the west side of the Mayacamas Mountain Range overlooking northern Sonoma County, this vineyard is at an altitude of 1800 feet. It is elegant and opulent wine, yet the altitude means it has delicate fruit.

One of the pioneers of English wine, Hambledon was established in 1952. This is a lovely blend of the three classic Champagne grapes, Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier.

Delicious 2004 vintage port, boxed and ready to drink. The perfect Christmas gift?

A truly delicious Grenache.

Beautiful South African Cinsault, from an up and coming star. This is elegant, with good fruit and makes a great alternative to Pinot Noir.
